The Dance of Arts & Business: An evening together

WHAT: A special evening of cocktails, live and silent auctions, a gourmet dinner
and a series of scintillating dance duets performed by artists from
– Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago
– Luna Negra Dance Theater
– River North Chicago Dance Company

Zoraida Sambolin of NBC5 News Today serves as emcee for the
night’s festivities. Steven Rosengard, contestant from Project Runway
Season 4, will donate a consultation for a custom gown for the auction and plans to attend the gala.

WHY: The Arts & Business Council’s major fundraising event, each year the gala draws
together hundreds of business and cultural leaders from Chicago. The
Arts & Business Council of Chicago has, for nearly a quarter of a century – and
with the help of hundreds of volunteers from the business sector – provided vital,
capacity-building services and programs to our city’s vibrant cultural arts
community. Last year’s gala raised nearly a quarter million dollars.
